Beyond the Mekong - 2002

This site has been created as a showcase for those intrepid travellers who ventured out with Explore Worldwide Ltd. in 2002 on the 'Beyond the Mekong' trips to SE Asia. Anyone who wishes to share their favourite pictures with their fellow travellers and the world at large are welcome to send their pictures to NTS Net for inclusion on the site. We would also be happy to publish any accounts of the expedition. Full details of how to do that, and information about copyright issues are on a separate page.

For the time being, until more people participate, a few photographs taken by the webmaster of the site, Gordon Gilmore, are available, plus a few by Wendy Roberts who went on the tour in early April - before the rains. The latter are for those, like me, who had difficulty believing that those 'bushes' sticking out of the lake were, in fact, fully grown trees.

Many thanks to Maria for sending me the CD-ROM containing 373 photos, including some panoramas. I have posted up a selection based purely on the basis that I like the picture or it particularly reminds me of the event. If any of the details are wrong, I'm sure someone will let me know.
